I'll try to upload some photos of the painted picture frame that I completed. I did this one because I wanted to try using some of the flowers that I bought from I am Roses. My hot glue technique needs work also; still leaving gobs of glue all over, but at least they're smaller than before......LOL.
This is a picture frame that I painted and decorated with paper that I punched with a Martha Stewart punch and painted. I hot glued the lace and flatback pearls on top of the paper, and decorated the sides. The small roses are Recollections roses; and I used various shapes of JoLees Bling, that I got from Michael's.
I've got all the supplies I need for my contest entry, so I will start working this week!

Design Team Call pt 2
I finally decided what my second entry will be; a hat box.
I have two round boxes that I will alter, using a paper collection from K and Company.
Can't wait to get to work on it! Stay tuned for updates...

Design Team Call
I started this Blog as a result of a design team call on Mini Album Scraps. The challenge was to post some pictures or a video of 2 pieces of scrapbooking art work for judgement by the members of the group. The administrators of the blog would make the final.decision.
One of the projects I have to make is a mini-album; the other project is an item of my choice. You'd think that with one of the items I have to make already decided for me, that I would have an eaiser time of it, but not really.
I originally got into this papercrafting thing to make cards. I bought a Cricut Imagine last October, but I haven't done much card making. I don't seem to have the knack for it; I have been able to make some embellies for my mini albums though. I find that I like doing albums better. However, how many albums can you make? I don't have children to take pictures of, and my friends that do don't take ANY at all....LOL.
Now I've started to alter different objects. So far, I've done two photo frames and two wooden letters. I painted and decorated them. I like them, but I don't feel that they are contest worthy.
I would like to challenge myself and try my cardmaking chops, but not now, when I'm trying to win a contest.
The entry deadline is Aug 10; and I have a million ideas in my brain!
My next post will be "The Decision" but I promise; I won't treat you like Lebron did!.....LOL
